Relationship counseling is a form of psychotherapy designed to improve relationships and resolve conflicts between partners. I provide a supportive and unbiased space for couples to navigate challenges, enhance communication, and foster a healthier and more fulfilling relationship.

Therapy that focuses on the improvement of interfamilial relationships and behaviors through the process of understanding and providing support in order to work through difficult situations.

Counseling with 1-8 participants treating a variety of conditions in a goal oriented setting while also allowing participants to receive support and encouragement from other members in the session.

Tina Dominy, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a proud U.S. Military Veteran with a Master of Science Degree in Counseling from the University of Houston. I have 15 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families struggling with mental health issues, relationship problems, career challenges, and life transitions.
I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking guidance and healing. With a client-centered approach, I offer personalized support tailored to each person's unique needs, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges, foster positive growth and achieve emotional well-being. My goal is to provide each client with the tools necessary to regain control of their lives so they can overcome the obstacle's they face.

Certified Treatment Methods
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) : Focuses on changing the automatic negative thoughts that can contribute to and worsen emotional difficulties. Through CBT, faulty thoughts are identified, challenged, and replaced with more objective, realistic thoughts.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) : Uses meditation, relaxation and awareness exercises to help you focus on the present moment, aiming over time to experience day to day situations and stressors in nonjudgmental and non-reactionary ways.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) : Aims to successfully improve coping skills in order to develop effective ways of managing and expressing strong emotions by resolving the apparent contradiction between self-acceptance and change.

Psychodynamic Therapy : Focused on learning how a person's subconscious thoughts, feelings, and memories are affecting their current behavior in order to help them cope with mental or emotional distress in order to gain self-awareness and insight.
Hypnotherapy : Uses guided relaxation and intense concentration to achieve a heightened state of awareness allowing for more open discussions and acceptance of therapeutic suggestion.
